His Opinion: Management has done an excellent job of restoring this fine property for use as an upscale hotel which has all of the modern conveniences, yet has retained with care were those aspects which impart the fact that you are staying in a medieval building. Superb location!As far as Old Towne , you can't go wrong with this one!

His Opinion: Stay was very pleasant.... upgraded to Junior Suite which was lovely.....
Could not have lived without having a stand up shower for many days though (we were only overnight stay and managed) and if we were staying longer would have wanted something better than the in bath option. Basin was also very small.
The weather was pleasant enough but if hotter would have wanted air con.....
The restaurant food was lovely, only compliant with the main course was that the monkfish was over cooked, but amazing food otherwise.
Staff/team great, very helpful, concerned about our welfare etc.
