Lo storico Schloss Prielau si trova sulla sponda settentrionale del Lago Zell, circondato da un parco e a soltanto 200 metri dal lago.
Menzionato già nel 1425, il Castello di Prielau è stato trasformato in un lussuoso hotel negli ultimi anni degli Anni Ottanta.
Dietro al castello si nascondono laghi con pesci e recinti con daini. La guglia della bellissima cappella barocca si erge sul castello ed è visibile anche da lontano.
Oltre ai 2 ristoranti gastronomici, l'Hotel Schloss Prielau dispone di una area spa con sauna, bagno a vapore e trattamenti massaggi presso i bagni del castello. La struttura è provvista anche di una spiaggia privata, dotata di molo in legno, casetta e confortevoli lettini prendisole.
